ISACA’s Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification indicates expertise in information security governance, program development and management, incident management and risk management. From 3 November 2026, the exam reflects ISACA’s updated CISM Exam Content Outline: Information Security Governance 18%, Information Security Risk Management 20%, Information Security Program 33% and Incident Management 29%, including the new enterprise architecture and information security architecture content areas.

Exam Details

• Number of questions:  150 questions
• Duration of the exam:  4 hours
• Delivery: computer-based, at PSI testing centers or remotely proctored
• Exam eligibility: valid for six months from registration
