Information that does not personally identify you
We use information that does not personally identify you in a variety of ways, including helping analyze website traffic and improve our services. Non personal information may include the Web browser you used to visit the Website, the time you visited the Website, which Web pages you visited on the Website, and other anonymous Website usage data. For example, when you visit https://rqmcert.ro, you need to know that we use third party services, such as Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out the number of visitors to the various parts of the Website. The information we collect includes unique identifiers, browser type and settings, device type and settings, operating system, mobile network information including carrier name. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. Google Analytics does not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. In addition, we use CDN (Content Delivery Network) to identify Geolocation of visitors to our website. We use this type of information to count the number and type of visitors that visit our website, and to constantly improve our website.
Information we collect from other sources
From time to time, we may obtain information about you from third-party sources, such as public databases, social media platforms, third-party data providers and our joint marketing partners. We take steps to ensure that such third parties are legally or contractually permitted to disclose such information to us.
We automatically place single pixel gifs, also known as web beacons, in every email sent by our users. These are tiny graphic files that contain unique identifiers that enable us and our users to recognize when their subscribers have opened an email or clicked certain links. These technologies record each subscribers email address, IP address, date, and time associated with each open and click for a campaign. We use this data to create reports for our users about how an email campaign performed and what actions subscribers took.
If you leave a comment on our website, for example, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. If you have an account and you log in to this Website, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. RQM Cert may use your personal information for target advertising toward you based on things such as region, gender, interests, goals, habits, etc.
We may permit certain trusted third parties (such as Google Analytics) to track usage, analyse data such as the source address that a page request is coming from, your IP address or domain name, the date and time of the page request, the referring Website (if any) and other parameters in the URL. This is collected in order to better understand our Website usage, and enhance the performance of services to maintain and operate the Website and certain features on the Website. We may use third parties to host the Website; operate various features available on the Website; send emails; analyse data; provide search results and links and assist in fulfilling your orders.
RQM Cert may disclose Contact Information in special cases where we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our terms and conditions of use or may be causing injury or interference with our rights, property, our customers or anyone who could be harmed by such activities.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and for business and administrative purposes. We may also use or share with third parties for any purpose aggregated data that contains no personally identifiable information.
4. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
We are committed to protecting the information we receive from you. We take appropriate security measures to protect your information against unauthorised access to or unauthorised alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we maintain appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information and data stored on our system. While no computer system is completely secure, we believe the measures we have implemented reduce the likelihood of security problems to a level appropriate to the type of data involved.
5. WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of RQM Cert unless one of the following circumstances applies:
Google (G-Suite) is another service provider we use for file transfer and Cloud Data Backup. The data stored or archived is encrypted and can be access only through the Multifactor Authentication Key. Such access is granted only to the RQM Cert’ Administrators. G-Suite services offer encryption for data being transported and at rest with at least 128 Bit AES encryption.
We will also disclose personal information to the following recipients: subscription management services which are located in United States (RQM Cert uses Constant Contact; for example, we may ask you to provide certain Personal Information, such as your name, contact details, company name, profile information, in order to sign up for a free or paid account), security and fraud prevention services which are located in Romania, our professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, financial advisers etc.) which are located in Romania, a third party, in order to enforce or defend our rights, or to address financial or reputational risks, a rights holder in relation to an allegation of intellectual property infringement or any other infringement.
7. THIRD PARTY ADVERTISING
Advertisements appearing on this Website may be delivered to you by RQM Cert or one of our Web advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. Doing this allows the advertising partners to recognise your computer each time they send you an advertisement. In this way, they may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which advertisements are clicked. This information allows an advertising partner to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. RQM Cert does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third party advertising servers of ad partners.
8. EMAIL CHOICE/OPT-OUT
The provision of RQM Cert services might entail the use of your personal data, with your express consent, to make available to you personalized advertisement related to our products and services. If any user who receives an email from the Website and would prefer not to receive such communications in the future, [he or she] can do so by following the instructions in the emails. In addition, you may send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to implement your opt-out requests promptly, but you may still receive communications from us for up to ten business days as we process your request.
9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
RQM Cert is not directed towards children under the age of thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. We retain your personal information to provide services to you and as otherwise necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We will retain your personal information for no more than seven years following the later of (i) the date on which you terminate your use of the Services or (ii) May 25, 2018, unless we are otherwise required by law or regulation to retain your personal information for longer.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).
